Zoe & Chris' 50's Style Wedding

50s style wedding

Zoe and Chris really injected some fun into their 50's style wedding with their candy colour scheme! Zoe's dreamy dress was made by Dana at Once Upon a Time (I have fallen in love the beautiful butterfly detail on the back), and the bridesmaids were each in a different coloured Honeypie Boutique dress.

The couple completed their retro theme with a quirky wedding cake and a fab white convertible Beetle!

Thanks to Hedgehog Photographic who did a fantastic job capturing Zoe and Chris' special day on camera!

  3. I am doing alote of my own wedding prodjects (DIY). I am excited. I did find a pattern for a 50's style tea-length dress and am having it made. I am also having my birdcage veil made. I am doing the invites,RSVP's,table numbers, & centerpieces myself. I am even making table place mats and napkin holders. The prodject I am on now is my guest book. I am stuck... I want to put a couple of (actual vintage photographs of brides) on the front of the guest book, but Havent found any that I really like on google search... Do you have any ideas where I can find actual black and white vintage photographs of brides(for free or for sale) ????? if they are for sale they have to be reasonable...Can you help with saggestions???

  7. I'm a fan of the pastel shade dresses and full skirts. They look very pretty all in a row. I even like the white heels (not usually my fave but here they work)
